Launching soon

No child should wait years to be heard.

A child can be approved for a communication device and still wait months — sometimes years — before it arrives. Burst+ Assist gives them a voice in the meantime.

The gap

The voice is funded. The wait isn't.

For a child with cerebral palsy and complex communication needs, the path to a funded eye-gaze device runs through assessments, reports, quotes and approvals. It is worth every step — but it is slow, often stretching across many months or years. In that time, a child who has so much to say has no way to say it.

Burst+ Assist exists for that gap. Not to replace the device they're waiting for — to make sure they aren't waiting in silence.

What it does

A voice today, on a computer you already own.

We take an existing laptop, install a clean, fast, secure system, and pair it with the adaptive hardware a child needs to drive it — eye gaze, switch, or touch. The result is a working communication device they can use now.

Access that fits

Eye gaze, switch access, or touch — set up around how the child can actually move and look.

Real communication

Symbol and text-based communication that speaks aloud, so a child can be heard at home, at school, and in the community.

Always working

Security and the core communication tools keep running — full stop. A child's voice is never switched off.

Continuity

Their voice stays theirs.

Learning to communicate takes time and practice. So when the funded device finally arrives, the words a child has built, their pages and their progress, come with them. Burst+ Assist is designed to hand over to the permanent device — not to send a child back to the beginning.

And cost will never be the reason a child goes without a voice.

For clinicians

Built to work alongside you.

Speech pathologists know these children, their access needs, and their vocabulary better than anyone. Burst+ Assist is meant to sit inside your plan for a child during the wait — an interim step you can recommend with confidence. If you support children heading toward a high-cost AAC device, we'd love to talk before launch.
